Gravity Show 2024, hosted at the iconic Birmingham NEC on August 24-25, brought together over 30,000 automotive enthusiasts across Europe and beyond!
As one of the most anticipated car shows in the UK, Gravity Show is a mecca for car enthusiasts, showcasing everything from high-end supercars to the most creatively modified vehicles. This year's Gravity show was significant for Duel Autocare, as we returned to the show for the second consecutive year and had the opportunity to present our car care and detailing products to a passionate audience of automotive aficionados.
Gravity Show was again hosted at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, the UK's premier exhibition space. The space buzzed with excitement as hundreds of exhibitors set up to showcase their products, demonstration vehicles, and much more. From show-stopping supercars to meticulously modified rides, Gravity Show 2024 had something for everyone. The atmosphere was electric, with live action zones, car displays, and interactive exhibits drawing crowds throughout the weekend.
Gravity Show, organised by SlammedUK, is renowned for its focus on automotive lifestyle and culture. This year was no exception, with multiple halls of the NEC packed with stunning cars, each more impressive than the last. The Gravity Show provided an ideal platform for brands to engage directly with their audience, and Duel Autocare was thrilled to be part of this incredible showcase.
Gravity Show 2024 wasn't just a celebration of cars but also a celebration of the automotive industry's biggest names. Among the notable brands, car collections, and personalities from the automotive scene present were:
Liberty Walk has evolved to become one of the biggest names in the automotive aftermarket world. Established by Wataru Kato and known for cutting up Japanese Kei cars to rare Ferraris, Liberty Walk body kits have changed the game. Their body kits have catapulted the supercar body kit trend and are a cornerstone of Japanese car culture.
The Liberty Walk stand this year at Gravity Show was exceptional and walked away with the award for “Best Stand”, not forgetting the ultimately little boys poster car the Liberty Walk Lamborghini Countach.
Zach’s Garage needs no introduction, having one of the most amazing car collections in the UK, so it didn’t surprise us with the cars he brought. Amongst an array of simply stunning vehicles displayed on the Zachs Garage stand was the 2020 Koenigsegg Regera, worth an estimated £3.6 million pounds, dripping in blue carbon fibre and 24k gold accents. The Koenigsegg Regera combines a powerful twin-turbo V8 combustion engine with three electric motors and cutting-edge battery technology via new powertrain technology called Koenigsegg Direct Drive, which results in a staggering 1500bhp!
Whilst it takes a lot to top the Koenigsegg, the very rare Corvette Stingray certainly looked amazing at Gravity Show and even more so considering it came off the production line in 1963.
Matt is known for his detailed DIY tutorials and stunning transformations. He brings old and seemingly impossible projects back to life, turning them into automotive masterpieces. Matt currently has 3.3 million YouTube followers, where he showcases car transformations, often taking supercars from crash-damaged to fully restored, all documented for his social media channels.
This year saw him bring the Mansory Rolls Royce Wraith, once owned and crashed by Marcus Rashford, which many have said was an impossible feat to repair, and the Ruby stone Porsche GT3.Not forgetting the meet and greet which created chaos when the doors opened on Sunday at Gravity show.
Maxton Design Ltd is the UK's largest distributor of Unique Automotive Styling Kits. Its products are designed using specialist 3D scan technology to ensure the perfect fit for your car.
On the Maxton Design stand we fell in love with the beautiful Satin Black g87 M2, which has been given the extra menacing look. Not surprisingly a lot of the Gravity Show cars featured kits from Maxton Design.
Vossen is a company that manufactures luxury and performance forged wheels in Miami, Florida. Founded in the early 2000s by Jav Azadi, Vossen is one of the few companies in the world that manufactures forged wheels entirely in-house and has built an amazing partnership with Urban Automotive.
On the Urban Automotive stand was their new creation, the Estoril Blue Range Rover Sport featuring the Vossen UV-1R in Gold, featuring the full Widetrack Urban Automtive programme
One of the most exciting aspects of Gravity Show 2024 was the live-action zones. These areas, dedicated to drifting and BMXing, kept the adrenaline pumping throughout the weekend. Watching these performances in action was a highlight for many attendees, and it added a dynamic element to the event that complemented the static displays.
The sheer range of cars at Gravity Show 2024 was exceptional. From modified cars that pushed the boundaries of creativity to supercars that exuded luxury and performance, every corner of the NEC was filled with automotive eye candy! The event also featured a variety of awards, recognising the best in show across multiple categories. These awards not only celebrated the vehicles but also the passion and dedication of their owners.
We've picked out some of our favourite Gravity Show winners below:
Best in Show - Winner of the 'Best in Show' award was this outrageous full carbon Porsche drag car on the Turbosmart stand
Best Engine Bay - You can't beat a clean bay! Winner of Best Engine Bay was this White Audi Quattro, also on the Turbosmart stand
Best International - Taking home the 'Best International' award was the Liberty Walk Countach,
Best Supercar - 1 of 85 Aston Martin Valkyrie Spider
For Duel Autocare, Gravity Show 2024 was more than just a platform to showcase our products; it was an opportunity to connect with the car care community. We had the pleasure of meeting many of our long-time customers face-to-face and introducing our brand to new enthusiasts. The feedback we received was invaluable, providing us with insights that will help shape our future product development.
Engaging with the community is a core part of Duel Autocare's success, and events like Gravity Show allow us to build and strengthen these relationships. Whether chatting with fellow exhibitors about the latest industry trends or discussing detailing techniques with passionate car owners, every conversation added to the experience.
Slammed UK, the organisers of Gravity Show had on display their own show vehicles, each individually excellent, so much so that we felt the need for their own dedicated space in this blog post to showcase them.
As we reflect on our experience at Gravity Show 2024, we are excited about what the future holds, with even more shows and exhibitions in the diary for 2024 and beyond. The Gravity Show reinforced our commitment to innovation in car care and inspired us to push the boundaries even further, and we can't wait to share our upcoming projects with the community. Duel Autocare is committed to staying at the forefront of the car detailing industry, and events like Gravity Show 2024 play a crucial role in that journey. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with many passionate individuals, and we look forward to seeing everyone at future events.
