From day one, Duel Autocare has been a British manufacturer in the truest sense of the word. We don’t outsource our identity, dilute our standards, or treat “Made in Britain” as a marketing afterthought. That’s why we have been a proud member of Made in Britain since the inception of our business.

Made in Britain exists to protect and promote genuine British manufacturing. Its registered trademark is not a decorative badge; it is a licensed mark that can only be used by verified manufacturers who meet strict criteria. That matters to us. In an industry crowded with vague claims and imported products wearing British branding, clarity and accountability are essential.

Being part of the British manufacturing community means more than where something is made. It’s about how it’s made, who is responsible for it, and whether the business stands behind its decisions. As a not-for-profit organisation, Made in Britain works collaboratively with UK trade bodies, government departments, and media to support responsible manufacturing, skilled employment, and sustainable economic growth. Those principles closely mirror how Duel Autocare operates day to day.

For us, manufacturing in Britain is a deliberate choice. It allows tighter control over formulation, testing, production, and quality assurance. It shortens feedback loops. It keeps development close to the people who actually use the products. When something needs improving, we don’t wait for a container shipment or hide behind a supplier—we fix it properly, at source.

Membership also brings accountability. The Made in Britain mark is governed by published Terms & Conditions and protected against misuse. You earn the right to use it, and you keep that right only by continuing to meet the standard. We believe that matters. Standards should be set and upheld, not loosely claimed.

British manufacturing also supports something less visible but equally important: continuity of knowledge. Skilled jobs, specialist processes, and long-term expertise don’t survive when everything is pushed offshore. By manufacturing here and remaining part of the Made in Britain community, we contribute directly to keeping that capability alive.
