Toxin is our iron fallout remover — a ready-to-use gel that dissolves the tiny iron particles a normal wash leaves behind, from brake dust on your wheels to rail and industrial fallout on your paint. Spray it on and it turns a striking purple as it reacts, so you can literally see it working, then rinse away. It's the iron-removal stage of a proper decontamination, and it's safe on all your exterior surfaces.

The Benefits

Why You'll Love It

Removes What Washing Can't

Iron particles embed into paint and wheels and bond there — a normal wash slides right over them. Toxin dissolves them chemically, so you remove contamination that would otherwise sit there and rust.

You Can See It Working

Toxin turns a vivid purple as it reacts with and dissolves iron. That colour change isn't a gimmick — it's a live readout of exactly where the contamination is and when the job's done.

Gel Clings And Dwells

The gel-based formula holds onto vertical wheel faces and panels instead of running straight off, giving it the long dwell time it needs to react fully before you rinse.

Safe On Every Surface

Ready to use and safe across your exterior — all paint colours, clear-coated wheels, glass and rubber seals — so you can decontaminate the whole car with one bottle.

How It Works

What Does Toxin Actually Do?

Iron fallout is contamination you can feel more than see: tiny metal particles thrown off by braking, railways and industry that land on your car and bond to the paint and wheels. They're too embedded for a wash to remove, they make paint feel rough or gritty, and left alone they can corrode into small orange rust spots.

Toxin dissolves them chemically. Its active ingredient reacts with the bonded iron and breaks it down into something that simply rinses away — and as it does, it turns a deep purple. That colour change is the reaction happening in front of you: the purple bleeding off the surface is the iron being dissolved, so you can see both where the contamination was and when it's finished working.

This is the iron-removal stage of a proper decontamination. After washing and drying, Toxin clears the embedded iron before you move on to tar remover, a clay bar and panel wipe — leaving paint that feels smooth and is properly prepared for wax, sealant or a ceramic coating to bond to.

The Result
"The purple bleed is the iron dissolving in front of you — proof the contamination your wash left behind is being lifted out, ready for smooth paint and a coating that bonds properly."

Suitability

Is It Right For You?

Ideal For
  • Anyone decontaminating paint and wheels before wax, sealant or a coating

  • Prepping a new or used car before applying protection
  • Anyone who wants a ready-to-use remover that shows it's working
Consider An Alternative If…
  • You just want to clean everyday brake dust and grime off the wheels — Axis is the wheel cleaner for that
  • You're removing tar or glue spots — that's a job for BlackJack
  • You've already removed the iron and need to lift bonded surface contaminants — reach for the clay bar
Safe On
  • All paint types and colours
  • Clear-coated wheels
  • Glass and rubber seals
  • Plastic trim
Avoid / Test First
  • Bare, polished or unsealed metal
  • Hot surfaces or direct sunlight
  • Any surface where it could dry before rinsing
Application Guide

How To Use Toxin

1
Wash & Dry First

Wash and dry the car first so Toxin reaches the bonded iron rather than loose surface dirt. Work on cool surfaces, out of direct sunlight.

2
Spray On — Ready To Use

Spray Toxin straight onto the wheels and paintwork — no dilution needed. Wear gloves and eye protection.

3
Let It Dwell & Turn Purple

Give it three to five minutes to react — you'll see it bleed purple as it dissolves the iron. On heavily contaminated wheels, agitate with a wheel brush. If there is no colour change, you don't have iron contamination.

4
Don't Let It Dry

Keep the surface wet while it works and never let it dry on. On a warm day or in sun, work one wheel or panel at a time.

5
Rinse Thoroughly

Rinse off completely with a pressure washer to reveal a contaminant-free surface. Then move on to tar remover and a clay bar to finish the decontamination.

Detail
Why does Toxin turn purple?
The colour change is the product reacting with and dissolving iron. As the active ingredient breaks the bonded iron particles down, it bleeds purple — so the colour is a live indicator of where the contamination is and when the reaction has finished.
What happens if I don't see a reaction?
If Toxin doesn't turn purple, you don't have iron contamination. It means the paint and wheels are free of bonded iron particles — the product has nothing to react with, so there's nothing to treat.
How often should I use a fallout remover?
At least every four weeks. Iron contamination needs time to build up to a level worth treating — using Toxin more often is expensive and wasteful of product. Use it every four weeks as part of your regular maintenance, or whenever paint starts to feel rough or gritty before a full detail.
Is it safe on my paint and wheels?
Yes — it's safe on all paint types and colours, clear-coated wheels, glass and rubber seals. As a precaution, test an inconspicuous area first on bare, polished or unsealed metal, and always rinse it off before it dries.
Do I need to dilute it?
No — Toxin is ready to use. Spray it straight from the bottle onto the surface; there's no mixing or dilution to work out.
When should I use it in my wash?
During decontamination — after washing and drying, and before tar remover, clay bar and panel wipe. It's the iron-removal stage that leaves the surface properly prepared for wax, sealant or a coating.
What's the difference between Toxin and a wheel cleaner?
Axis is a wheel cleaner — it lifts everyday brake dust and grime. Toxin specifically dissolves bonded iron particles (and shows it with the purple colour change), on both wheels and paint. Many people use Axis for regular cleaning and Toxin for a deeper decon.
Why does it smell, and what if it dries?
Iron removers can give off a sulphur-like smell as they react — that's normal and clears once you rinse. Don't let it dry on the surface: work on cool panels out of direct sun, one section at a time, and rinse thoroughly.
