Why You'll Love It
Most microfibre cloths are hemmed, and that stitched border is the hardest part of the cloth. BUFF has no border and no seam. On a dark bonnet in low sun, that difference is the whole point.
The heaviest general-use cloth in the range and the softest. There is enough fibre between your hand and the paint that you can work with almost no pressure, which is how a final pass should be done.
Wax that has hazed, sealant residue, polish sitting in a shut line. BUFF lifts it off cleanly instead of smearing it around, so the finish you walk away with is the one you worked for.
Blue and grey in every pack. Use one to take the bulk of the product off and the other for the dry final buff, and you never carry residue back onto a clean panel.
What Does Edgeless Construction Actually Do?
A normal microfibre cloth is cut from a roll and hemmed, which leaves a stitched border running all the way round. That border is not microfibre. It is thread, usually polyester, and it sits proud of the pile with nothing soft around it. When you buff a panel, the pile glides and the hem drags. On light-coloured or freshly polished paint you will never notice. On black, on a soft single-stage finish, or on a panel you have just spent an hour correcting, the hem is the part that puts fine straight-line marks back in.
Edgeless construction removes the border entirely. The edge of the cloth is heat-cut and sealed, or knitted closed, so there is no thread anywhere on it. Seamless goes one step further and removes the joining seam through the body of the cloth as well. The result is a cloth where every square centimetre that touches your paint is the same soft pile, and there is no hard part to find by accident when you fold it into quarters.
The second thing 550GSM buys you is depth. A heavier pile keeps the base cloth, and anything trapped in it, further from the surface, and it means you can lift residue with the weight of your hand rather than by pressing. Pressure is what causes marring, not contact — so a cloth that removes the need for pressure is doing real safety work, not just feeling nice.

How To Use A BUFF Cloth
Eight usable faces from one cloth. With no hem there is no hard edge to find when you fold, so every face is as safe as the last.
Buffing wax before it has cured just moves it around. Wait for the haze, then take it off. This is the single most common reason a good cloth appears to smear.
This is what the pair is for. Blue lifts the residue, grey does the dry final pass over a panel that is already nearly clean. One cloth doing both jobs carries product back onto finished paint.
At 550GSM the weight of the cloth is enough. Straight passes are safer than circles on any paint, and on dark paint the difference is visible.
Move to a clean face as each one loads. Wash at 30°C with Duel Laundry before cured wax dries hard into the pile — not after.
