Most cloths are designed to move a small amount of product around. Coral fleece has the depth to absorb liquid properly, which is what you want when you're taking back a quick detailer or a spray wax rather than buffing a dry panel.
A thick plush pile keeps the base cloth well away from the surface, and there's no stitched edge to catch. It's the cloth to use on soft or dark paint where marring shows up in the sun.

What Is Coral Fleece?
Coral fleece is a type of microfibre, not an alternative to it. The fibre itself is the same split polyester and polyamide used across the rest of the range. What's different is how it's knitted: the fibres are brushed up into a thick, dense, deep pile that stands well proud of the base cloth, which is where the name comes from — it looks a little like soft coral, and it feels like fleece rather than cloth.
That depth changes what the cloth is good at. A standard flat-weave microfibre cloth has a shallow pile and a lot of contact with the surface, which suits dry buffing and general wiping. Coral fleece has far more fibre per square centimetre standing off the base, so it holds a much greater volume of liquid before it starts pushing product around instead of picking it up. At 500GSM this one sits between a general purpose cloth and a drying towel — plush enough for wet work, not so heavy that it becomes unwieldy on a small panel.
The second consequence is gentleness. The deeper the pile, the further the base cloth and any trapped grit sit from your paint, and the less pressure you need to apply to get a result. Combined with an edgeless construction there is nothing hard anywhere on the cloth, which is why this is the one to use on soft, dark or freshly corrected paint where fine marring would show.

How To Use A Coral Fleece Cloth
Eight usable faces from one cloth. Work through them rather than using the same patch until it's saturated, and you get a clear finish for far longer.
For a quick detailer or spray wax, mist the panel. A deep pile will happily absorb a whole trigger-pull straight into itself and you'll use twice as much product for no benefit.
Let the pile do the work. Coral fleece has enough depth that pressure adds nothing except risk, and straight passes are safer than circles on any paint.
Move to a clean face as each one loads up. Wash at 30°C with Duel Laundry before it goes back in the drawer, not after it's dried hard.
