Flex is our polymer spray sealant — a fast, foolproof way to protect your whole car in one pass. You measure a small dose into a snow foam lance, spray it over the wet vehicle, then rinse: no buffing, no panels, no fuss. It leaves a deep-gloss, hydrophobic layer that sheets and beads water and protects paint and glass for six to eight weeks. An Auto Express Best Sealants winner, it comes complete with a measuring syringe and cup.

The Benefits

Why You'll Love It

Weeks Of Protection

A single application leaves a tough, hydrophobic sealant layer that shields paint and glass for six to eight weeks, sheeting and beading water so dirt struggles to stick and rinses away more easily.

Whole Car In Minutes

No panel-by-panel work and no buffing. Measure a dose into your lance, spray the wet car, leave it a few minutes and rinse. Sealing the whole vehicle takes no time at all.

Paint & Glass

The same pass protects paintwork and glass together, so your windscreen sheds rain along with the bodywork — no separate glass sealant, no extra step, one product over the whole exterior.

A Little Dose Goes Far

Each seal uses only a tiny measured amount, so a single small bottle keeps protecting car after car. The included syringe and cup make getting the dose right effortless every time.

How It Works

What Does Flex Polymer Spray Sealant Actually Do?

A freshly washed car has nothing protecting the paint, so grime, water spots and the elements go straight to work on it. A sealant adds a sacrificial barrier — but traditional paste sealants mean applying and buffing every panel by hand, which puts a lot of people off doing it at all.

Flex is a spray sealant built around reactive polymers — protective molecules that bond to the surface as the product is applied and rinsed. Diluted into a snow foam lance and sprayed over the wet car, it spreads itself evenly and cures into a thin, durable film. That film is hydrophobic, meaning it repels water, so rain sheets and beads off instead of clinging as a dirty film.

That barrier lasts around six to eight weeks on a well-kept car before washing, rain and miles wear it back. Keeping to a gentle, pH-neutral wash routine makes it last longer, and because reapplying is just another few minutes through the lance, staying on top of protection is genuinely easy.

The Result
"Spray it through a lance, rinse, done — the whole car sealed and beading water in minutes. Flex makes proper paint protection something you'll actually keep up with."

Suitability

Is It Right For You?

Ideal For
  • Protecting the whole car quickly, without buffing panels by hand
  • Anyone who already uses a snow foam lance for washing
  • Beginners who want real, lasting protection with no technique to learn
  • Keeping paint and glass beading water through the winter months
  • Maintaining a car between full details with minimal effort
Consider An Alternative If…
  • You don't own a snow foam lance and would rather mist and buff — Oxide gives spray-sealant protection by hand
  • You want the longest-lasting protection and don't mind hand application — Element Hybrid Wax lasts months
  • You only want a quick gloss boost, not protection — Nitro is the pure detailing spray
Safe On
  • All paint types and colours
  • Glass and windscreens
  • Over an existing wax or sealant as a top-up
Avoid / Take Care
  • Letting it dry on the surface, or applying in direct sunlight
Application Guide

How To Use Flex Polymer Spray Sealant

1
Wash First, Measure The Dose

Start on a freshly washed, wet car. Using the enclosed syringe and cup, measure out 5ml of Flex — the single recommended dose (see the mixing guide below).

2
Add To Your Foam Lance

Add the 5ml to 250ml of water in your snow foam lance bottle and fit it to your pressure washer. That's everything mixed and ready.

3
Spray The Wet Vehicle

Apply evenly over the entire exterior while the car is still wet, glass included. There's no need to work it in — the polymers spread and bond on their own.

4
Dwell, Then Rinse

Leave it around 4–5 minutes to bond — but do not let it dry, and keep it out of direct sunlight. Then pressure-wash off thoroughly, dry the car, and rinse your lance out afterwards.

5
Maintain & Reapply

Protection lasts around six to eight weeks. Keep it going with a gentle wash — Engage pH-neutral snow foam and Bahama Blue shampoo are ideal — and simply reapply through the lance when water stops beading.

Dilution

5ml Flex
250ml Water
1 Application

One fixed dose, every time — measure 5ml of Flex with the enclosed syringe, add it to 250ml of water in your foam lance, and that's enough to seal a whole car. There's no strength to judge. Apply to a wet vehicle, never let it dry, keep it out of direct sun, and rinse thoroughly after the 4–5 minute dwell. For more on how dilution ratios work, read our dilution ratios guide.

Detail
Do I need a snow foam lance to use it?
Yes — Flex is designed to be diluted into a snow foam lance and sprayed on, which is how it coats the whole car so quickly and evenly. If you don't have a lance and would rather apply protection by hand, Oxide is a mist-and-buff spray-sealant hybrid instead.
How long does it last, and how often should I reapply?
Each application protects for around six to eight weeks on a well-maintained car, worn back gradually by washing, rain and miles. Sticking to a gentle, pH-neutral wash makes it last longer. Reapplying is just another few minutes through the lance whenever water stops beading tightly.
How many applications do I get from a bottle?
Twenty. Each seal uses a 5ml dose and the bottle holds 100ml, so one small bottle protects the whole car twenty times over. The enclosed syringe and measuring cup make getting that 5ml dose exact every time.
What's the difference between Flex and Oxide?
Both are spray sealants, but they're applied differently. Flex goes through a foam lance to seal the whole car in one pass and lasts six to eight weeks. Oxide is misted on and buffed by hand, doubling as a quick detailer. Choose Flex for speed over the whole car, Oxide for no-lance convenience.
Can I use it on glass?
Yes — Flex is meant to go over the entire exterior, glass included, so your windscreen and windows shed rain along with the paintwork. It's one of the real advantages of applying it through the lance: everything gets protected in the same pass.
What happens if it dries or I use it in the sun?
Letting it dry on the surface or applying in direct sun can leave patchy residue and a poor bond. Always apply to a wet, cool car out of direct sunlight, give it the 4–5 minute dwell without letting it dry, then rinse thoroughly.
