Fabric Care Products

Fabric seats, carpets and boot liners need a different approach to dashboards and door cards. This collection brings together Duel's all-purpose interior cleaner with the scrubbing tools designed to work alongside it, giving you what you need to lift dirt, marks and everyday grime from fabric without over-wetting or damaging the material.

Logic All Purpose Interior Cleaner is safe to use on fabric as well as its usual hard-surface jobs. Pairing it with a scrubbing pad, brush or finger mitt gives fabric the gentle agitation it often needs to actually shift dirt that's worked into the weave.

Whether you're tackling muddy footwell mats or keeping on top of general upholstery, this is everything you need working together in one place.

Fabric surfaces inside a car need a different approach to hard plastics and vinyl. Dirt works down into the weave of seats, carpets, and mats rather than sitting on the surface, which means a wipe alone rarely shifts it. The right cleaner and agitation tool together lift that trapped grime without soaking the fabric or leaving it stiff once dry.

Logic All Purpose Interior Cleaner is the core product here — a concentrated, active-foaming cleaner with a lemon sherbet scent that covers both fabric and hard interior surfaces from one bottle. Pair it with an Interior Scrubbing Pad or Finger Scrub Mitt and you have a genuinely effective system for keeping the inside of the car clean without heavy effort.

Why Use Dedicated Fabric Care Products?

Fabric traps dirt differently to hard plastics and vinyl. Dust and grime work down into the weave of seats, carpets, and mats rather than sitting on the surface, so a simple wipe usually isn’t enough to shift it. Using a dedicated cleaner alongside the right agitation tool lifts this trapped dirt from within the fibre without soaking the material or leaving it stiff and discoloured once dry.

Regular fabric maintenance also reduces the build-up of ground-in grime that becomes increasingly difficult to remove over time. Staying on top of it with a quick clean every few weeks is far easier than tackling neglected seats or carpets that have had months of use.

For a complete interior clean, use fabric care products alongside your interior cleaner for hard surfaces — Logic covers both, so one bottle handles the whole interior.

What Can Fabric Care Products Be Used On?

Logic All Purpose Interior Cleaner and the accompanying tools are suited to carpets and footwell mats, seat fabric and upholstery, boot liners and cargo areas, fabric door trims, and headlining where accessible.

Logic is not recommended for continuous use on leather surfaces — use a dedicated leather cleaner instead. Always test for colour fastness on a small hidden area before applying to seats or upholstery for the first time.

Which Tool Should I Use?

The Interior Scrubbing Pad is the starting point for most fabric cleaning tasks. One side has a firm nylon weave for agitating grime out of the fabric, the other is soft microfibre for wiping away the product once you’re done. Spray Logic onto the surface and onto the pad, scrub gently, then flip and wipe. No heavy pressure needed.

The Finger Scrub Mitt fits over your fingers for better control in tighter areas — seat crevices, between cushions, around bolsters. Same dual-sided design, better reach.

The Soft Detailing Brushes are ideal for agitating Logic into more delicate fabric areas where a scrubbing pad would be too abrasive, and for working product into carpet pile before wiping. The Stiff Detailing Brushes are better suited to tougher spots — seat rails, door shuts, rubber floor channels — where you need more bristle strength to shift heavy grime.

Fabric Care FAQs

How do I dilute Logic All Purpose Interior Cleaner?

Logic is a concentrate. For heavy cleaning of heavily soiled carpets or seats, dilute 1:5 (one part Logic to five parts water). For general maintenance and lighter grime, 1:10 is sufficient and stretches the product further. A 500ml bottle makes up to 5 litres of ready-to-use cleaner at the general dilution. Use the dilution ratio calculator if you need help working out the right amounts.

Will fabric cleaner leave my seats damp?

It shouldn’t if you apply it correctly. The key is not to over-saturate the fabric. Spray Logic onto the scrubbing pad rather than directly onto the seat, agitate the surface, then wipe away promptly with the microfibre side. If working on heavily soiled areas that need more product, a dry microfibre cloth after cleaning helps absorb any excess moisture. Seats dried with windows open or in a warm environment usually dry within an hour.

Can I use Logic on leather seats?

Logic is not recommended for continuous use on leather. It can be used occasionally on hard leather-look trim, but for genuine leather seats use a dedicated leather cleaner and conditioner instead. Always test on a hidden area first if you’re unsure about the surface type.

How do I clean the Interior Scrubbing Pad and Finger Scrub Mitt?

Rinse with warm water after use and add a small amount of mild soap or a drop of Bahama Blue Shampoo. Agitate the fibres, rinse thoroughly, squeeze out excess water and air dry. For a deeper clean, machine wash with Laundry Microfibre Wash Detergent, no fabric softener, and air dry.

Is Logic safe on car mats and boot liners?

Yes — Logic works well on rubber and fabric car mats, carpet boot liners, and rubber boot trays. Remove them from the car first if possible for easier cleaning and rinsing. At 1:10 dilution it’s effective for regular maintenance; step up to 1:5 for mats with heavy mud, grit, or staining.

Can I use the Stiff Detailing Brush on seat fabric?

The stiff brushes are best kept to tougher surfaces — seat rails, rubber door channels, door shut areas, and heavily textured plastic. For actual seat fabric and upholstery, use the Soft Detailing Brush or Interior Scrubbing Pad to avoid risk of pulling or damaging the weave.

A cleaner interior is easier to maintain than you think.

A quick 10-minute interior fabric clean every few weeks keeps seats and carpets looking consistently good and prevents the gradual build-up of grime that takes much longer to shift. Logic, a scrubbing pad, and a dry microfibre cloth are all you need. For the complete interior detail, pair with interior cleaner for hard surfaces and interior dressing as the finishing step.

Fabric Care FAQs

Everything you need to know about cleaning fabric seats, carpets and mats.

What's included in this collection?

An all-purpose interior cleaner that's safe on fabric, plus the scrubbing tools — pads, brushes and mitts — designed to work alongside it for a proper clean.

Can I use Logic All Purpose Interior Cleaner on fabric seats?

Yes. Logic is formulated to be safe across fabric, vinyl and plastic interior surfaces, making it a practical choice if you'd rather not keep multiple different cleaners.

Do I need a brush or pad as well as the cleaner?

For anything beyond light dust, yes. Fabric usually needs some agitation to lift dirt that's worked into the weave — a scrubbing pad, detailing brush or finger mitt does that job.

Will it leave my fabric soaking wet?

No, if used as directed. Apply sparingly, work it in with a pad or brush, then wipe away excess with a microfibre cloth. Soaking the fabric will only slow down drying and risk marking.

How often should I clean fabric interior surfaces?

This depends on use, but a quick clean every few weeks helps stop dirt building up, making each clean faster and less effort than leaving it to build up over months.

What's the difference between the Finger Scrub Mitt and the Interior Scrubbing Pad?

Both work the same way — cleaner side to agitate, microfibre side to wipe away — but the Finger Scrub Mitt's shape makes it easier to work into seams, seat backs and other tight areas.

Clean fabric makes as much difference as clean paintwork.

A fresh-smelling, stain-free interior changes how a car feels to sit in, not just how it looks. Pair your fabric care routine with our interior cleaner for hard surfaces, and if pet hair is part of the challenge, our pet hair remover is designed to work alongside it.
