Optical is our fast-drying, streak-free window and glass cleaner. Its high-alcohol formula cuts straight through greasy films, fingerprints and road grime on any glass surface, then flashes off fast to leave a crystal-clear, smear-free finish inside and out. Spray it onto a glass cloth, wipe, and buff with the dry side. Because it's alcohol-based it's extremely flammable, so use it away from heat and naked flames.

What Does Optical Actually Do?
Glass looks simple to clean but rarely comes up perfectly clear. Windscreens pick up a greasy film from the road and from the car's own vents; interior glass gets a foggy haze from plastics off-gassing and, in some cars, smoke. Water and a cloth just move that film around, and any water left behind dries into streaks.
Optical is a high-alcohol glass cleaner built to solve both problems at once. The alcohol dissolves greasy residues and film quickly, and — just as importantly — it evaporates fast, so there's no water sitting on the glass to dry into marks. Spray it onto a cloth rather than the glass, wipe, and buff with a dry side, and it flashes off to a clear, smear-free finish.
That fast evaporation is also why it's flammable: it's the alcohol doing the work. Used sensibly — in a ventilated space, away from heat and flames, on cool glass out of direct sun — it gives you the clearest glass in the range, which is the one piece of detailing you notice on every single drive.

How To Use Optical
Optical is high in alcohol and extremely flammable, so work in a well-ventilated space away from heat, sparks and flames, on cool glass out of direct sunlight.
Spray Optical onto a clean glass cloth rather than straight onto the glass — it gives you more control and avoids overspray on trim.
Wipe across the whole pane, edge to edge, to lift the film and grime. Work one window at a time so it doesn't flash off before you buff.
Flip to a clean, dry side of the cloth and buff to a clear, streak-free finish. The fast evaporation does most of the work for you.
View the glass at an angle and in different light to catch any missed smears, then give them a quick buff. Interior glass especially rewards a second look.
