Oxide is our quick detailer hybrid — it adds instant gloss like a detailer, but also lays down real, lasting protection like a spray sealant. One easy mist-and-buff leaves paint and wheels slick, glossy and beading water, with protection that comfortably lasts six to eight weeks per coat. Layering it builds the durability up even further.

The Benefits

Why You'll Love It

Gloss That Protects

More than a shine spray — Oxide's hybrid formula lays down a genuine layer of protection that repels water and shrugs off grime, so your paint stays cleaner and glossier for six to eight weeks.

Mist, Buff, Done

No cure times, no fuss. Mist onto a panel, spread and buff — you get sealant-level protection with the speed of a quick detailer.

Build It Up

Use it on all your paintwork and wheels, and layer additional coats to stack up more durability and depth. You control how much protection you want — one pass, or a few.

A Little Goes Far

A fine mist is all each panel needs, so a bottle covers a lot of cars. Protection and gloss from a single, easy step — no separate sealant, applicator or buffing stage required.

How It Works

What Does Oxide Actually Do?

A quick detailer adds gloss but wears off almost straight away; a dedicated sealant protects for months but takes more time and technique to apply. Oxide is the middle ground — a hybrid that gives you a lot of both without the effort of either.

The formula combines gloss agents, which lift light dust and lay down a slick, reflective layer, with synthetic sealant polymers, which bond to the surface and repel water. That's why a freshly-Oxided panel both looks deep and glossy and beads water like a waxed car. On wheels, that same repellency helps stop brake dust and road grime keying in.

Because it's a protective layer, it has a real lifespan — around six to eight weeks from a single coat on a well-kept car, worn back over time by washing, rain and miles. Layering more coats builds it up further, and topping up after a wash keeps the protection and beading going.

The Result
"Deep gloss, tight water beading and weeks of protection — all from one mist-and-buff. Oxide gives you the look of a sealant with the ease of a detailing spray."

  • All paint types and colours
  • Alloy and painted wheels
  • Over an existing wax or sealant
Avoid / Test First
  • Working in direct sunlight or letting it dry on the surface
  • Glass — use Optical to avoid smearing the screen

Application Guide

How To Use Oxide

1
Start Clean & Cool

Protection only bonds to a clean surface, so wash the car first and work on cool panels out of direct sunlight. Straight after drying is the perfect moment.

2
Mist Onto The Panel

One mist for a small panel, two or three for a larger one. A light, even coat is all you need — more product doesn't mean more protection.

3
Spread With A Microfibre

Spread it evenly across the panel with a clean microfibre cloth so the whole surface is covered.

4
Buff To A Gloss

Flip to a dry side of the cloth and buff off to a slick, glossy finish. Don't let it dry before you buff, and keep it out of direct sun. Layer a second coat for extra durability if you want it.

5
Top Up Every Few Washes

Each coat protects for around six to eight weeks. When water stops beading as tightly, reapply — a quick refresh after a wash keeps the protection and gloss topped up. For longer single-application durability, reach for Flex.

Detail
What's the difference between Oxide and Nitro?
Both add instant gloss, but Oxide is a hybrid that also lays down real protection and water repellency lasting six to eight weeks per coat. Nitro is the lighter, purely gloss-focused quick detailer for fast, frequent top-ups. Choose Oxide when you want protection as well as shine.
How long does it last, and how often should I reapply?
A single coat protects for roughly six to eight weeks on a well-maintained car, worn back gradually by washing, rain and miles. Layering extra coats builds up more durability. The easiest routine is to top up after a wash whenever the water stops beading tightly.
Can I use it on my wheels?
Yes. Oxide is safe on alloy and painted wheels, and the protective layer helps stop brake dust and road grime keying in, so wheels wash off more easily next time. Apply it exactly as you would on paint — mist, spread and buff.
Can I layer it for more durability?
You can. Once the first coat has been buffed off, apply a second in the same way to build up more protection and depth of gloss. It's a good way to boost durability before winter or a long spell between washes.
Will it work on a dirty car?
No — protection needs a clean surface to bond to, and applying it over grit risks marring the paint. Always wash, and ideally decontaminate, first, then apply Oxide as the final protective step.
