Engage
Neutral Snow Foam
Size
Engage is our pH-neutral snow foam — a thick, clinging pre-wash that lifts road grime and traffic film before you touch the paint, while staying 100% safe on your wax, sealant or ceramic coating. Loaded into a foam lance it dwells and works away at the dirt, then rinses cleanly. It's the foam you can reach for every single wash without ever wearing down the protection you've built up.

Why You'll Love It
Because it's pH-neutral, Engage won't touch your wax, sealant or ceramic coating. You get a proper foaming pre-wash with none of the risk of stripping the protection you've paid for and put on.
A luscious, thick foam that sits on the panels instead of sliding off, so it dwells and lifts loose grime for the full few minutes rather than running to the floor in seconds.
Gentle enough to be your every-wash foam. On a coated or sealed car that's washed regularly, Engage keeps the finish clean and protected without the extra cleaning strength you simply don't need.
Just 50ml foams a whole car, so even the smallest bottle lasts a run of washes. The 5 Litre works out far cheaper per foam — the value calculator below shows the difference.
What Does Engage Actually Do?
Traffic film is the dull, greyish layer that builds up on a car between washes — a mix of road grime, exhaust residue and dust that clings to the paint. A snow foam is an essential part of a proper wash: you cover the car in a thick layer of foam, let it dwell, and rinse away everything it has loosened before your wash mitt ever makes contact.
Engage is pH-neutral, which simply means it sits in the middle of the pH scale — neither acidic nor alkaline. That matters because it's the aggressive ends of the scale that can shorten the life of a wax, sealant or ceramic coating. A neutral foam cleans through its surfactants — the ingredients that lift and hold dirt — rather than through harsh chemistry, so it shifts everyday road grime while leaving your protection completely untouched.
That's what makes it the foam for a maintained car. If you've spent time protecting your paint, an alkaline pre-wash used every week slowly works against you; a neutral one doesn't. Used as your regular first step, Engage keeps the finish clean and the coating doing its job for as long as possible — which is the whole point of applying one.

How To Use Engage
Start with a thorough rinse using a hose or pressure washer. This clears the loose debris so the foam can reach the traffic film underneath rather than sitting on top of dried mud.
Add 50ml of Engage to your foam lance bottle and top it up with 450ml of water — one simple mix, enough to foam a whole car. See the mixing guide below.
Cover the entire exterior in an even layer of foam. Pay particular attention to the lower panels, sills and wheel arches, where traffic film builds up most.
Let the foam dwell for three to five minutes, and gently agitate stubborn areas with a soft detailing brush. Don't let it dry on the surface — in warm weather or direct sun, work one section at a time.
Rinse the whole vehicle with clean water using your pressure washer. The paint should look visibly cleaner before you move on to your contact wash with shampoo.
Dilution
One simple mix, every time — add 50ml of Engage to your foam lance bottle and top it up with 450ml of water. That's enough to foam a whole car, so there's no guesswork about strength. Never allow Engage to dry on the surface, and always rinse thoroughly after every application. For more on how dilution ratios work, read our dilution ratios guide.
